When is the deadline for turning in my Nehemiah Gift Commitment card?
There is not a specific deadline for presenting your Nehemiah Gift Pledge. However, the Nehemiah Committee needs to be able to move forward with the project and in order for that to happen, they must know the total amount of gifts pledged. If you haven't received a card or need to present your card, you may either call or stop by the church office during regular business hours.
Will my commitment to the Nehemiah Project take the place of my regular tithe?
No, your commitment to the Nehemiah Project is giving that is over and above your regular tithe.
How long is my commitment to the Nehemiah Project for?
4 years (2009-2013)
How much money are we trying to raise?
Our goal is $7 million.
How are we planning to raise $7 million dollars?
The Nehemiah Committee has prayerfully considered the needs and resources of our congregation. A carefully developed giving matrix has been prepared. It suggests that if everyone participates and gives at a level they are capable of, we can reach our goal.
When does construction begin on the Sanctuary?
Construction began in late April 2010.
While the Sanctuary is under construction, where will we worship?
Worship will take place in our Worship Center (formerly the gym) in Wesley Hall during construction.
How long will the construction take?
From start to finish, the construction of the Sanctuary should take approximately 10-12 months to complete.
Will we meet in the Worship Center that entire time?
Yes.
