Each month the Outreach Team will coordinate a local community mission opportunity which will be open to the whole family.

Mats for the Homeless
Saturday, March 23; 9 - Noon
Meet at 9 am in the Youth Building; learn to weave mats using an old-fashioned loom. Eric Long has made five looms that can be checked out to participants so projects can be completed at home.
No prior registration needed - just come join us!

Turn Back the Block "Clean and Green" Day in Augusta
Saturday, April 20
We are supporting our mission partner Turn Back the Block in cleaning the area around Harrisburg where several of our other local misson partners are located. To register for this event, click the button below. If you register prior to March 31, you will have an opportunity to receive a Clean and Green Day t-shirt as a thank-you for volunteering.

Golden Harvest "Stamp Out Hunger" Food Drive
Saturday, May 11
Volunteers will help unload food donations from the postal carrier vehicles when they arrive at the post offices. Volunteers will be spread through out 10-12 post office locations around Augusta.
- You can choose one of two shifts: 2 to 4 pm or 4 to 6 pm
- Requirements: should be at least 13 years old, comfortable standing for 2-3 hours and be able to lift 10-15 pound bags repeatedly.
