Director of Children’s Ministry
Trinity on the Hill has been my church home for over 30 years. That’s why serving as the Director of Children’s Ministry is so special to me. Having grown up in a small Methodist church in Midville, Georgia, I came to know the Lord as my Savior. At the age of 16, at the very beginning of contemporary youth worship, I took that walk down the aisle.
What prepared me for my position in ministry was being involved in Fashion Merchandising, specifically women’s retail. As I made women look beautiful on the outside, God opened my heart to help them look beautiful on the inside. I began asking God what He would have me do next after I left retail. Never in a million years would I have thought He would lead me to Children’s Ministry. I am a perfect example of His equipping, realizing that all He wants is an empty vessel to work through. With assurance, when He calls He equips.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Keith Howard, for over thirty years. Each of our children, Ben, Allie and Lilly, have been equipped for life through preschool, children’s and youth programs at Trinity on the Hill. Because of them, my passion is for the next generation to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
