A Greeting
Welcome to the new blog for Missions & Outreach at Trinity on the Hill. Follow us to know what we’re doing with our partners, locally, nationally and internationally and find out how you can get involved. Each week we’ll feature a partner, a testimony, or even a devotion to help you find where God is calling you to serve.
We want everyone to be able to engage in Missions at Trinity, so every post will tell you how you can participate in an Outreach opportunity.
Each year we dedicate one weekend to celebrating Missions at Trinity. We call this our Trinity Outreach Celebration (TOC). We kick-off the weekend on Friday evening with supper and a program. We invite and recognize all of our local mission partners and any other partners who may be able to attend. Saturday morning we gather again for Hands Day- a day of service in our local community. We have several projects that people can sign up to serve in. Some are here at the church, most notably our Rise Against Hunger project which bags rice to feed some of the poorest nations, and some are out in the community. We aim to find opportunities where families can serve alongside one another. We start the morning with a light breakfast and prayer before commencing our projects. Sunday morning culminates the weekend with a powerful worship service, testimonies, and blessing for all our Mission partners and Missionaries here locally, nationally and internationally. Since we are called to serve every day, not just one weekend a year, we call our Missions & Outreach TOC 365.
Save the date for next year’s celebration: January 31st- February 2nd, 2020.
