Augusta, Georgia, has been Tracie’s home for her entire life, and she loves this community deeply! She graduated from A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet School and went on to attend Augusta College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance. Many years later, Tracie discovered a passion for teaching, which led her back to school at Augusta University, where she received her master’s degree in early childhood education.
That love for teaching and guiding others flows directly into her heart for ministry. For over 15 years, she has had the absolute joy of serving as the president of the Women in the Word Sunday school class, a community that has deeply shaped her life. Tracie’s ministry journey has also given her the privilege of serving as the prayer chair for two of our women’s retreats, and she truly loved getting to teach at the Faith on Fire retreat in 2024.
Stepping into this new role, Tracie’s prayer and absolute passion is to see God move mightily through our women’s ministry. She is incredibly excited to serve this church family, to help women engage more deeply in learning about Jesus, and to ultimately see hearts transformed and brought to Christ.
On a personal note, Tracie is the proud mom of her son, Devin. Their home is rounded out by her sweet cat, Lilo, and Devin’s golden doodle, Teddy. (He loves to steal the show!) In her free time, she loves spending time with Devin, getting out for a good walk, reading, enjoying a little retail therapy, and loudly cheering on her favorite basketball and football teams. Go Dawgs! Go Falcons! Go Hawks!
