Director of Student Ministry
Charles grew up in Augusta, Georgia and came up through the children’s and youth ministry of Trinity on the Hill. His family is very active here.
After graduating from Wake Forest University, Charles received his Masters degree in Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary. For two years, he worked in Athens, Georgia, at the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation.
In his free time, Charles enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and any kind of competition. He especially loves competing against middle and high school boys and teaching them the Biblical principle of humility!
In 2022, Charles returned home to Augusta and to Trinity and has absolutely loved the opportunity to invest in the next generation here. Charles works in student ministry alongside his wife, Julia. They married in 2023 and are living out a calling from God to invest in the spiritual lives of young men and women.
In 2024, Charles was ordained as a deacon in the Global Methodist Church.
Charles and Julia are expecting their first child in April 2025!
