Tony is an ordained Deacon in the Global Methodist Church and was ordained in May 2024 in the Alabama-Emerald Coast Conference. Before moving to Augusta, Tony pastored churches in Covington, Georgia; Kankakee, Illinois; and Mobile, Alabama.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication for Ministry from Trinity International University and a Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Most recently, he also served as the Chair of Religious Life and later as Interim Chaplain at Episcopal Day School (EDS) in Augusta.
Tony and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to Augusta in 2025 when she accepted a position as Director of Music and Organist at Church of the Good Shepherd. Their family includes two cats, Zen and Xan, and one dog, Claire.
Outside of ministry, Tony enjoys running and spending time outdoors. He has completed four marathons so far and hopes to one day run a marathon in every state, in addition to completing each of the World Marathon Majors. He is grateful to be part of the Trinity on the Hill community and looks forward to serving through congregational care, ministering to men and older adults, and helping build meaningful connections within the church.
